Pharrell Williams brings forth the latest installment of his Perspective series in the shape of The Tank Chair. Slated for a world premiere at the Emmanual Perriton Gallery during Art Basel Miami Skateboard P’s latest venture in contemporary furniture comes along in four colorways and is made of plexiglas and full grain colt leather. After taking inspiration from the love between a man and a woman for the First Perpactive chair one can only assume the influence behind this creative piece.
Multi-faceted musician/entrepreneur Pharrell williams teamed up with furniture designer Domeau & Peres earlier in the year to create the critically acclaimed “Perspective” chairs. They are now on display at the Gallerie Emmanuel Perrotin in Paris. The contemporary furniture pieces are featured in four colorways with leather, luxurious velour and veal skin wrapped seats. Taking inspiration from the love between a man and woman, this is certainly another project adding to the already impressive resume of Mr. Williams.
